Joseph E. Mulcahy, 77, Of Fairfield, Worked For Xerox Corporation

Mulcahy grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y., and had a career at Xerox Corporation. He served on the Board of both the Merton House and Catholic Charities.

Mulcahy is survived by his wife, Anne; children, Brian, Kerry, Eileen, Michael and Kevin; sons-in-law, Barry and Daniel; five grandchildren; a sister, Betty; and brother-in-law, John; extended family; and nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Sunday, Oct. 6 from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Oct. 7 at 10:30 a.m. meeting directly at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Road, Fairfield. A private family interment will be held in St. Thomas Cemetery.
